While my background in graphic design naturally makes me lean toward minimalist and modular structures, I’ve recently begun challenging myself to move beyond the grid and into the realm of storytelling.

This fiber art piece is a narrative of the Appalachian Ohio landscape throughout the seasons - a transition from the amber hues of autumn leaves, to the deep mossy greens and earthy browns of winter, ending with the vibrant spring blooms.

By layering intricate knotting techniques, I’ve translated the organic textures of the forest floor into a tactile, three-dimensional experience.

Created using upcycled materials, including hand dyed sari silk gifted to me by a lovely family member. The wood was salvaged from the shores of Lake Erie.
