What is an enclosure card?

When it comes to wedding invitations, it’s nearly impossible to fit all of your wedding details on the invite. The purpose of an enclosure card is to include those extra details that are important to your big day, while keeping your invitations neat and clean.

An enclosure card is a small piece of paper that typically goes inside all of your personalized wedding invitations. It can include reception details, directions, transportation schedules, or any other important information for guests.

Enclosure cards help prevent confusion on your wedding day by providing guests with special details or instructions that answer their questions ahead of time.

Clean, modern, chic invitation for the minimal bride.

Minimal doesn’t always mean boring. A font can say a thousand words and sometimes a script font isn’t right for a bride. For me I knew I didn’t want any crazy scripts or embellishments on my invitations because I am a simplistic type of girl that wanted that to be reflected in my wedding.

Instead I went for a modern font and added specialized touches to enhance my invitation suite. I added RSVP and detail cards that were printed on a custom paper colors with white ink to further push my wedding color palette and overall aesthetic to my guests. I added a vellum wrap and custom wax seal to tie everything together.

Next time you get a modern wedding invite in the mail take extra time to appreciate the simplicity of the design because sometimes less is more 🤍

Everyone’s love story is unique, and your stationery should be too. When you hire a stationery designer, they will get to know you, your style, your personality and most importantly your love story. They will take all the things that make you uniquely you and design stationery that is one of kind just like you!

Let’s face it we can all go to ETSY, Zola, Minted or one of the hundreds of other ‘pre-made’ wedding invitation websites and get invites for $2 but SO many things can go wrong. A stationery designer will show you final proofs so to ensure that all of the details big and small are correct.

𝟒. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙠𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩
Want to have a special effect on your invite but have no idea what it’s called? Or do you want a different shaped invitation besides the traditional 5x7 rectangle? When you hire a stationery designer, they will be able to help take all your ideas and turn them into reality.

𝟓. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙜𝙪𝙧𝙪

5 Tips For Staying Creative 💫

1️⃣ Clean Up Your Work Area. I personally can’t get anything done in a messy room so first thing I do when I’m feeling stuck is clean and organize my office and desk. There is nothing better than a clean desk/room and a freshly lit candle to spark my creativity.

2️⃣ Spend Time Outside. Go for a walk, sit on your patio, work outside, ANYTHING... some fresh air will give your brain new life and a new perspective.

3️⃣ Take 👏🏼 A 👏🏼 Break. Take a break from social media, whether it’s a quick 30 min break or a few days take some time to detox your brain from social media. Social media breaks have helped me gain my confidence back and have helped me focus on other things besides comparing myself to other designers.

4️⃣ Work In A New Space. Pack up your computer and notebook and go to a coffee shop, park or patio and work for the day. One of the best parts of being a designer is being able to work anywhere so take advantage of it!

5️⃣ Do Creative Research. Pick up a new design book or magazine and do some research on new styles that are inspiring to you! There are a ton of resources for creative research besides scrolling on your phone!

What do you do stay creative??

Great 👏🏼 branding 👏🏼 creates 👏🏼 trust 👏🏼

A professional appearance and strategized branding will help your company build trust with your clients, and potential clients. People are way more likely to choose a brand or work with a company that looks polished and professional. For instance when I’m choosing a bottle of wine I simply go based off of what the label looks like. 😍 Because if the label is beautiful the wine has to taste good too right?

Being properly branded gives the impression of being and industry expert and makes consumers feel like they can trust your company, services and products. ✨

Love cursive fonts? Here a few tips to making the most of a cursive typeface

1. Easily customize your font by using ligatures and glyphs. 🤩
If you highlight a letter and a blue bar appears underneath the letter, that means that you can choose to display that particular character in another way. This is a great easy way to make a font feel more custom to your brand.

2. Cursive shouldn’t be all caps 🙅🏼‍♀️
Cursive fonts can be hard to read and using them in all caps further amplifies that issues. Using all caps also stops the letters from connecting smoothly and can throw off your entire design.

3. Use Cursive fonts as an accent! ✨
Cursive fonts can be very hard to read when used in large amounts of copy. Instead of making a whole paragraph cursive choose to use a serif or san serif font and use cursive to add a personality to small bits of copy.

4. Say no to kerning. ✋🏼
Kerning, the process of adding or removing extra spacing between characters and is a great tool when used correctly, however cursive fonts are intentionally created to have letters flow together. Adjusting the kerning will make the typeface look disconnected and fragmented.
