Last Thursday at Off The Chain Thursday, we turned our attention inward—focusing on what it truly means to build Atlanta’s decentralized future from the ground up. The conversation went beyond theory, diving into how our local ecosystem can evolve to take a real position in the global decentralized web movement, with builders, creatives, and community leaders all contributing to the vision.
Through collaborative discussions and small group breakouts, the room leaned into the real work ahead. From expanding beyond traditional tech circles to identifying the infrastructure and partnerships still needed, it became clear that Atlanta isn’t lacking talent or culture—it’s about alignment and ex*****on. The energy in the room reflected a shared understanding that the future we’re talking about is already in motion, and it’s being shaped right here in the city.
A special moment from the night was recognizing ABC’s own Joe Lewis of Skylark, who was acknowledged by US Senator, Jon Ossoff for his participation in the 2026 Presidential AI Challenge. He was honored for his hard work, leadership, and the time and energy he poured into students at Shiloh High School—an example of the kind of impact that extends beyond tech and into the community.
The night was a reminder that is more than a goal—it’s a collective effort. Atlanta’s decentralized future won’t be something we wait on… it’s something we’re actively building together.
