Last Thursday at Off The Chain Thursday, we turned our attention inward—focusing on what it truly means to build Atlanta’s decentralized future from the ground up. The conversation went beyond theory, diving into how our local ecosystem can evolve to take a real position in the global decentralized web movement, with builders, creatives, and community leaders all contributing to the vision.

Through collaborative discussions and small group breakouts, the room leaned into the real work ahead. From expanding beyond traditional tech circles to identifying the infrastructure and partnerships still needed, it became clear that Atlanta isn’t lacking talent or culture—it’s about alignment and ex*****on. The energy in the room reflected a shared understanding that the future we’re talking about is already in motion, and it’s being shaped right here in the city.

A special moment from the night was recognizing ABC’s own Joe Lewis of Skylark, who was acknowledged by US Senator, Jon Ossoff for his participation in the 2026 Presidential AI Challenge. He was honored for his hard work, leadership, and the time and energy he poured into students at Shiloh High School—an example of the kind of impact that extends beyond tech and into the community.

The night was a reminder that is more than a goal—it’s a collective effort. Atlanta’s decentralized future won’t be something we wait on… it’s something we’re actively building together.

Next week at OTC Thursday, we’re getting hands-on with what it really means to build in the age of AI and blockchain.

Chris Powell of Project Pi will lead a practical session exploring how tools like Claude Code can be used to pull basic wallet data, prompt AI to analyze it, and make simple decisions based on what it finds. The goal is to show how lightweight tools can unlock powerful workflows for builders, founders, and anyone curious about where AI agents and onchain data are headed.

This won’t be overly technical or complicated. It’s about making the process approachable, showing what’s possible, and helping our community understand how AI can become a real building tool in Web3. As always, we’re continuing the mission to push Atlanta forward as a top 10 blockchain city.

This Thursday at Off The Chain Thursday, we’re doing something a little different. Instead of just talking about the future of the decentralized web, we’re inviting the community to help design it. As Atlanta steps into the global decentralized web movement, this session will focus on bringing together builders, technologists, and community organizers to collaborate on what our city’s role can and should be in this next phase of the internet.

Through facilitated small group conversations, we’ll dig into the real challenges and opportunities shaping our local ecosystem — from expanding beyond traditional tech circles to identifying the infrastructure, resources, and partnerships needed to move forward. This is about building from the ground up, together, and making sure Atlanta has a meaningful voice in shaping the decentralized future.

The lines between traditional finance and crypto are starting to blur in a real way. Tokenized stocks are quickly moving from concept to reality in the United States, as regulators explore new frameworks that could allow blockchain-based versions of public equities to be traded more openly. But this moment is bigger than just stocks—it’s part of a much larger shift toward bringing real world assets on-chain.

From equities to real estate, treasuries, and beyond, we’re entering a phase where ownership itself is being redefined. Tokenization has the potential to unlock faster settlement, 24/7 markets, fractional access, and global participation in ways the traditional system simply can’t support today. What used to be limited, slow, and exclusive is becoming more open, liquid, and programmable.

Join us this Thursday as we break down what tokenized stocks actually are, how they fit into the broader real world asset movement, and what’s happening behind the scenes to bring this infrastructure to life in the U.S. This isn’t just about new technology—it’s about a new financial system being built in real time. And as it takes shape, Atlanta has an opportunity to be at the center of it. 🚀

Conversations across the crypto space are heating up around one of the most important (and often overlooked) parts of Web3: governance. Recent debates surrounding Aave have pulled back the curtain on how decisions are really made within decentralized protocols—raising questions around voter participation, delegate influence, and whether token-based governance truly reflects the will of the community.

At this week’s OTC Thursday, we’re unpacking what’s happening, why it matters, and what comes next. From the rise of more structured, “enhanced” DAO models to the broader push for better alignment between builders, users, and token holders, we’ll explore how governance is evolving in real time. If Web3 is about ownership and decentralization, then governance is where those ideals are tested—and refined. Join us as we continue pushing Atlanta forward as a top 10 blockchain city in the next 5 years.

Last night at Atlanta Blockchain Center, we hosted AUC @ ABC, bringing together students from the Atlanta University Center—Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Clark Atlanta University—for a powerful and inspiring evening. The room was filled with curiosity, ambition, and real conversation as students shared where they are in their journeys and began to see where they can fit within the evolving world of blockchain and emerging technology.

What stood out most was the energy. This wasn’t just about learning—it was about activation. From marketing and community building to operations and leadership, it was clear that the next wave of builders doesn’t just come from code, it comes from culture, perspective, and ex*****on. We’re committed to continuing to create space, provide access, and equip the next generation to step confidently into this industry as we push Atlanta forward on our mission 🚀

Yesterday at Off The Chain Thursday, we tapped into one of the most important shifts the industry has seen in years with a conversation centered on digital assets and the SEC’s evolving stance on token classification ⚖️📊. With signals that many tokens may not be considered securities, the conversation focused on what this shift actually means for builders, investors, and the broader crypto ecosystem—and why this moment matters right now.

The room was locked in as we unpacked the implications of clearer regulatory direction, from increased confidence in building to the emergence of stronger compliance frameworks and new market opportunities 🚀📈. More than anything, the discussion reinforced that we’re entering a more defined era for digital assets—one where education, ex*****on, and positioning will separate those who participate from those who lead. Appreciate everyone who came through and continues to lean into these conversations as we push Atlanta forward.

The conversation around crypto regulation just took a major turn—and it’s one we’ve all been waiting on.

The SEC’s latest stance that many tokens are not securities marks a significant shift for the industry. For years, builders, founders, and investors have had to navigate uncertainty around how digital assets would be classified. Now, we’re beginning to see clearer lines being drawn—creating space for more confident innovation, stronger compliance frameworks, and a more mature crypto ecosystem overall.

This week at OTC Thursday, we’re unpacking what this actually means (and what it doesn’t), how it impacts projects, investors, and the broader market, and where the opportunities are from here. Whether you’re deep in the space or just getting started, this is a conversation you don’t want to miss as we continue pushing Atlanta toward becoming a top 10 blockchain city in the next 5 years.
