🎨🌊 JUST DROPPED: A mural project straight from my hometown — and straight from the heart.
I recently had the honor of painting three Airbnbs in North Myrtle Beach, including locations in Windy Hill and Cherry Grove — but this project became so much more than just another job.

Each property got its own custom coastal design, and one even received a Surf Lodge logo on the exterior and inside the living room.
But the most meaningful piece?
A mural that simply reads “4A” — For Anderson.
It’s in a bedroom now called “Anderson’s Bunker,” honoring Anderson Estep, my best friend’s older brother who tragically passed away surfing at Cherry Grove Pier.
The Airbnb owners were moved by his story and chose to dedicate a room to him. Every year, the community gathers for the Anderson Estep Memorial Surf Competition — and this was my way of keeping his memory alive through art. 💙
This trip was also the first time I publicly shared that I’m colorblind — I have a Deutan color deficiency. That means I can’t see reds and greens the way most people do. But thanks to my wife, who picks all the colors after I design — I’ve never let it stop me.
We brought our son along, and on the final night in Cherry Grove, my mom came out to help, holding lights so I could finish strong. 💡
This mural, this video, this moment — is one of the most personal I’ve ever shared.
