Meet Nicole Toole, the founder and CEO of ECGO, and one of the builders contributing to our city’s rich ecosystem.

Nicole spent four years at Georgia State University studying not just computer information systems, but the actual behavior behind why people do or don’t recycle. That curiosity turned into a company.

ECGO helps universities, municipalities, and corporate offices hit their waste-zero goals, and since launching in August 2022, students at GSU and Georgia Tech have used it to recycle over 50,000 items.

Atlanta college and university will compete across six innovation tracks to pitch sustainability solutions to the city’s top business leaders.

This Hackathon is free, open to all majors, and has FIFA World Cup tickets and career-defining opportunities on the line.
