Usit is a mobile application created to provide an on-demand babysitting service that connects households to college students in the area at the tap of a button, helping households find the perfect babysitter within minutes. Usit gives access to trustworthy and dedicated babysitters by conducting a background check on students and verifying they attend their respective colleges prior to allowing t
hem to use our platform. A college student can create a profile by clicking “apply to be a USIT” on the application home page. The student must be 18 years old and apply with his/her college email to be verified. Any parent can create a profile as well and they can request a babysitter by clicking “request a USIT” on the home page of the application. The parents can put the task, amount he/she is paying, and the day when requesting a babysitter. Throughout the day, the parent will get multiple acceptances from college students and it will go into their “pending” tab on the application. Ultimately, the parent can choose a babysitter from all the pending babysitters.
