We are looking for a Field Service Technician at Automotive Fleet Services LLC!

The Field Service Technician (FST) is responsible for working with the clients of AFS and performing on-site installations of a vast array of 12volt products. This person will be responsible for maintenance and repair on previously installed products and collecting detailed documentation pertaining to the customer accounts.

Some of the products that the FST will be installing are as follows:
* Broadband Antennas
* In-Vehicle Printer Mounts
* In-Vehicle Computer/Laptop Mounts
* In-Vehicle Data Integration
* License Plate Readers
* GPS Tracking and Analytics
* In-Car Video Solutions
* Interior/Exterior Camera Systems
* Gun Rack Installations
* Equipment Storage Products
* In-Car Router and Modem
* And many other accessories

If you have any experience in any of the above areas, let us know which ones. Lack of experience does not disqualify anyone from applying.

The focus of this position is to ensure that equipment installation quality is consistently executed to meet the standards expected by the clients of AFS and our industry partners in accordance with company best-practice installation specifications.

The FST completes vehicle equipment installations for key pilots and rollout accounts as well as provides technical direction, identifies technical problems, and takes initiative to resolve any issues that may arise.

The FST position is separated into 3 tiers based on experience and background. Each tier has a base salary plus commission pay structure that is based on the tier and this structure starts after a 90 day probation period with the company.

Position Requirements:
* Must have valid drivers license and clean MVR
* Must have reliable transportation
* Must pass 10 year background check
* Must pass drug test
* Must have own personal tools, a required tool list will be provided during interview
* Must be willing to travel for up to 3 or 4 weeks at a time
* Travel is 75-80%
* Be willing to work in a team environment

AFS does not expect everyone to have experience in all aspects of the industry.

Hey guys, I know we haven't posted anything in a while as business growth has been through the roof. We have has several changes going on since the beginning of the year.

I wanted to let everyone know that we have now officially launched our new website and it looks fantastic. We are working on bringing life to a few more features, but we wanted to get the site out to people so they could find us. We have showcased a lot of our work, our customers, and our staff. We will also be adding a Technicians Database for those of you that are in our industry as well as an online store where we will be carrying product in the future.

Has anyone wondered what this means on Police K9 vehicles?

If the horn is beeping it means the heat alarm is going off. The windows roll down and a fan goes on. Sometimes officers have to leave their K9’s in the car to handle a call, however, even with climate settings, mechanical failures can still happen. If you hear the alarm, call 911. This could save their partner’s life!
