That's always fun! Like I always say Internet is easy and power is hard. We see about 20 customers without Internet they are all in the same general area so pretty sure there is no power. All towers are online and working normally. If you have power, and no Internet please text the office 7122432497 and include your address. Thanks!

With tomorrow being Good Friday we will be working at a client who will be closed for the holiday. This gives us a great time to do a large network migration without any downtime for them. With this our office phones will be in "Holliday Mode" Friday and back to normal on Monday. Thank You!

Had someone text me a few minutes ago that the Internet blipped and "a big game was going to be on". I let her know that I was cleaning out some cobwebs to make sure there were no issues during the game, We are VERY aware of the game and that Iowa would be losing. There was then a discussion about the other half being a Nebraska fan... which I feel for him tonight having to be in the house with said Iowa fan. Needless to say everything is working normally (except for that clearing of the cobwebs 15 minutes ago) I will let her decide if she wants to be known.. and GBR :)

Just a couple things as we head into the storm….

1, Really the only big problem we will have is power. Remember you may have power and the tower does not. The towers do have batteries and in many cases generators however we won’t drive out to them unless it’s safe to do so.

2. We are really good about posting updates here it’s much easier to post than answer a bunch of phone calls.

3. Do not unplug any cables or press any buttons requiring tools on your equipment! It will be a service call to fix it. To be clear I said DONT :)

4. When will something get fixed? Again it will be power issues and unfortunately most times we don’t know when power will get restored. We won’t lie to you and we won’t give you a fake time a week from now but rest assured we will move heaven and earth to get it online as soon as it’s safe to do so.

Yes there are times the raccoon may have your wire but don’t let the cat have your tongue! If we don’t know it’s broke we can’t fix it! We monitor everything until it enters your home or business, inside is a different story… watching that would be… creepy. Never in the history of NISHNANET have we ever left a customers Internet broken without telling them why and exactly when it would get fixed… and it’s ALWAYS been within a day.
