Position Summary:
Semoice Technology is seeking a motivated and qualified Integration Specialist with 1–3 years of experience in the field. This position involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the following, but not limited to: access control, video surveillance, intrusion alarms, audiovisual systems, and other IT systems as required. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on environment, demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills, and is passionate about technology integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, program, and test access control systems, CCTV surveillance, intrusion detection, audiovisual systems, and networking systems in commercial environments
• Install racks, servers, and other datacenter equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues both on-site and remotely
• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and system schematics
• Run, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling and fiber optic systems
• Perform system commissioning, functionality checks, and end-user training
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other on-site trades to ensure seamless project ex*****on
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records for all installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks
• Provide regular updates to customers regarding project progress and service call resolutions
• Update software platforms with real-time data on project status and service activities
• Accurately track time spent on each project and service call for reporting and billing purposes
• Maintain service vehicle cleanliness, organization, and inventory to ensure readiness and efficiency
Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field - PREFERRED
• Relevant Technical Certifications - PREFERRED
Examples include NICET Certification, Fiber Optic Certification, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, Axis, Hanwha, Genetec, Avigilon, Commscope, or similar industry-recognized credentials.
• 1–3 years of experience installing and servicing access control, CCTV, alarms, and AV systems – REQUIRED
• Working knowledge of systems from manufacturers such as Genetec, Lenel, Axis, Exacq, Bosch, Hanwha, or similar - REQUIRED
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
• Must be self-motivated and team oriented.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be willing to travel
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of the on-call schedule.
Location Requirements:
Candidates must reside within approximately 45 minutes of Montgomery or Atmore, Alabama, to allow for efficient dispatch and field service coverage.
