At a minimum, all our facilities are ISO 9001:2015 and UL certified, RoHS, REACH and Conflict Mineral compliant. We have pre-qualified and disqualified many circuit board factories over the years, and we have found the lowest cost manufacturers are so for a reason. Communication is usually lacking, quoted prices may change once an order is placed, end-product will often be sub-standard, and delivery dates will often be longer than what is initially promised. Bargain factories will typically cut corners to keep their costs as low as possible, and they don't pay close attention to fabrication notes. You may get 1 or 2 acceptable designs that turn out OK, but in the long run, there will be a much higher price to pay than just the cost of a cheap bare board. We work only with experienced factories that meet our standards for quality, communication and on-time delivery.
