On Valentine's Day, love was spread through the community, as an educational exhibit showcasing the affordable net zero community being built in Aurora had its ribbon cutting ceremony. OnLight Aurora is proud to collaborate with the City of Aurora, IL, Government, Nicor Gas, and Fox Valley Habitat For Humanity on the first Affordable Smart Neighborhoods in the Midwest. Mayor Richard C. Irvin’s vision of evolving the City of Lights into the City of Lightspeed is becoming reality.

Last fall, OnLight Aurora in partnership with Scientel Solutions and the City of Aurora, IL, Government, launched to provide virtual learning environments for students throughout Aurora, IL.

More than 10 community organizations received network upgrades and enhanced connectivity to power their remote school programs, helping to narrow the technology gap experienced by children of low-income families.
