Job Description Summary:
PayPal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Treasury Business Analyst to join the Corporate Treasury Systems team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cash management and experience using SWIFT and the Quantum Treasury management system (or other comparable treasury workstations). This role requires a knowledge of Investments, Bank Account management, payment flows, banking technology and a passion for continuous process improvement.
This position will provide strategic insights to internal business partners, and support key treasury system and data related initiatives, that are part of the Finance Transformation annual plan to deliver outcomes that promote efficiency, return on project investments and expense savings that are in compliance with PayPal’s global statutory and regulatory obligations.
Job Description:
Responsible for the delivery of the ex*****on and oversight of effective Treasury system risk management activities within Finance with key responsibilities:
1. Act as a subject matter expert for the Quantum Treasury management system, eBAMf (bank account management system) and SWIFT.
2. Collaborate with Treasury, IT and Finance teams to identify, analyze and implement process improvements related to cash management and SWIFT messaging.
3. Partner with technology team and users to develop and maintain SLA’s on various activities
4. Support the Treasury team in the efficient system utilization of daily cash management activities, including bank reconciliation, cash forecasting and investment management, identify and implement improvements as required.
5. Work closely with IT to support Quantum upgrade and enhancements to improve automation and efficiency in Treasury operations.
6. Provide training and support to Treasury team members on the use of Quantum and SWIFT.
7. Stay current with new developments in Treasury management systems, SAP and SWIFT messaging, and recommend new technologies to improve operations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
8. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
9. Minimum of 7 years of experience in Treasury operations, including experience with Quantum Treasury management system and SWIFT messaging.
10. Strong understanding of cash management, investment management processes and related Accounting rules.
11. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
12. Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
14. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
