Is always better? Judging from this Littler report on modern models, companies are saying yes. ✅

More than four years after the start of the pandemic, remote and hybrid workplace adjustments have done a great deal in transforming the boundaries of work.

👨‍💻 Amid the return to office surge, organizations are still continuing to pursue , hybrid and remote work models, with only 2% of organizations in professional service and technology industries requiring in-person work in 2024.

🏢 Large organizations in particular are leaning towards office-centric work models, while leaving substantial room for remote options. 46% of them are utilizing this kind of hybrid policy this year.

🚦However, while 71% of all overall organizations now use a hybrid work schedule, there was a notable shift toward increased in-person work, with a 9% increase in hybrid organizations that have since added more in-office requirements, while still ensuring remote options.

We were inspired by LifeSpeak Inc. CEO Michael Held's Forbes feature on how employers can best navigate trending high-cost claims, which state some alarming figures.

🚨 Employers are witnessing high utilization for trending healthcare benefits, with anti-obesity medications increasing by 91.9% and substance abuse treatment by 52%.

🚨 On average, organizations lose 49 days worth of productivity per employee because of absenteeism and presenteeism.

🚦 Conversely, teams who prioritize employee benefit from 125% ↗ more productivity (13 days) than those who do not.

Most employers would claim that workplace wellness is important, but what does that even mean, really? By asking specific questions about our approach to employee , we can demystify what it really means to foster a healthier, happier, and more productive futures for everyone involved. 😎
