Some horses are good at one job.
Pistol decided to master all of them. 🤎

Meet Alexis Wright's 16-year-old Quarter Horse, Hart Horse Pistol — a horse who has spent the last 14+ years being more than just a ride. He’s been a teacher, teammate, protector, athlete, babysitter, adventure partner, and best friend all in one.

Given to Alexis at just 1.5 years old, Pistol has truly done it all: teaching lessons, training colts, winning rodeos and barrel races, jumping, western dressage, roping, working cattle, drill team, carrying flags in rodeos, parades, and confidently navigating crowds of 500+ people. He’s carried riders from 1.5 years old to 85 years old — and somehow still loves every second of it.

From camping on the beach to riding through the ocean, Pistol has lived a life full of adventure. But his favorite thing? Opening up and breezing down a track with his girl. ⚡️

What makes him unforgettable isn’t just his athleticism — it’s his heart. Loyal, intelligent, brave, and endlessly dependable, Pistol is the kind of horse every rider hopes to find once in their lifetime. The kind that keeps you safe, stands steady when things go wrong, and somehow always knows exactly what you need.
