These several short verses, known as Gathas, can help us with mindful breathing, especially during times of change and transition.
By saying each verse in our mind, as we breathe in and out, we join the breath, the body and mind which invites us into relaxation. This also gives the mind something to focus on as we breathe.
When we breathe consciously, the mind begins to slow and the body begins to relax ~ calming our nervous system.
