I have had a very eventful and unique approach in my design career. Being presented opportunities not many young designers receive.

This is my first entry to this series, it discusses my first design job and my story about getting hired. I have added side notes about what I’ve learned in these roles in the hopes of helping younger or “lost” designers that are not sure what to do next in this broad field.

Take a look and add a comment if you have any questions! I’ve never been much of a writer so this is new to me, but I hope it can share some insight into the design field.

Before the end of my first semester, I was presented design opportunities that have placed me in the position I am now, and this is just the beginning. I hope you enjoy the journey of my 18 year old self, absolutely clueless of the journey he just embarked on.
