Took a break from posting on here for the last few months. I’ve still been busy with a lot of freelance work and a lot of fun stuff too like…

Justin and I getting engaged this summer💕 💍We’re so happy and so excited for the future.

I designed a coloring sheet for my friends over at 🍔

The initial idea they came to me with was a cowboy and cowgirl, riding a horse, and holding a burger. For the other elements, I drew inspiration from their location.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The last time I was there, tons of wildflowers were growing everywhere so I wanted to capture that. Also, Alamo Springs Cafe is right next to Old Tunnel State Park which is home to three million Mexican Free-Tailed Bats, so I definitely wanted to add that in as well.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This was my first time designing something like this and it was so much fun! I wanted to keep the illustrations relatively simple, to give kids the space to color everything the way they wanted.

If you’ve never been to Alamo Springs Cafe, you definitely need to go! They have amazing burgers and onion rings and a whole lotta charm.

This was a lot of fun to make and a nice change of pace to all of the greeting cards and prints I’ve been making lately. I work so much on my iPad in procreate so it was nice getting to design something in illustrator.

Hey there y’all. 👋 It’s coming up on me and Justin’s 6 year anniversary of moving to Austin and it’s got me reflecting a little bit.

Six years ago, I was still on a quest to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. After moving to Austin, I stumbled upon the art of hand lettering and have been hooked ever since. From that point on, I’ve been constantly learning and growing in my craft. It’s been such an incredible journey of self-discovery and creative exploration.

Just wanted to say that I’m super grateful to have you along for the ride!
