Currently hiring in San Francisco, Ca or surrounding area - Field Technician
Job Purpose: Establishes communications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining wireless, wired, voice and data telecommunications network infrastructure and equipment.
Field Technician Main Job Duties including but not limited to:
· Plans and executes wireless installations
· Establishes Internet networks/ VoIP phone systems by running, pulling, terminating, and
splicing cables; installing telecommunications equipment, routers, switches, access points,etc.
· Verifies service by testing circuits, and equipment; identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
· Documents network by labeling and routing equipment and cables; recording configuration diagrams and specifications.
· Maintains network by troubleshooting and repairing outages; testing network back-up procedures; updating documentation.
· Maintains customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns; answering questions.
· Maintains safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
· Maintains complete customers notes including equipment location, passwords, ect.
· Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
· Must be able to climb ladders, safely install in crawl and attic spaces, drill holes, run cables, mount cables, put ends on cable, connect cables to router setup wifi, and basic network troubleshooting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
