I have been drawing, painting and designing since I first picked up a pencil...and later a mouse. Visual compositions and color combinations just come naturally. I began designing for the retirement industry at Benefacts, a division of Aon Consulting. There I had the opportunity to create personalized benefit communications for Fortune 500 clients such as Vanguard, Fannie Mae, Raytheon, and The Coca-Cola Company. Her award-winning Total Compensation logo for Coca-Cola was printed along with an award-winning identity package she developed for a local non-profit in American Corporate Identity 99. After four years within the personalized communications field, I accepted the position of Creative Director at the Argus Group (now Broadridge). At Argus, I was responsible for all internal and external marketing campaigns, managing all design projects, working with both internal consultants and external design departments within major clients such as American Funds, Mass Mutual, BB&T, CitiNational and ADP. In early 2005, I moved to New Orleans and opened an art gallery and design studio called Moxy Studios. At Moxy I held monthly gallery exhibits of artwork by about dozen artists and also managed design projects for local clients. However, after the devastating effects of hurricane Katrina, I returned to the East Coast to continue my love affair with graphic design. I spent seven years as Art Director at HDN Studio in Alexandria, Virginia designing corporate identities for new businesses, and creative print materials for a variety of Washington DC area clients and projects. I have most recently won a MarCom Award and an Hermes award for my custom infographics on both the 2014 and 2015 Global Health Initiative GAP report. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Towson University as valedictorian and hold my Master of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
