When you create a business to support those in need, you often take on more than anticipated. I created Baker's Technology for the sole purpose of helping the less fortunate with their tech issues by repairing broken screens, resuscitation dead computers etc. I have also found myself being sort of a handyman for some clients by mounting tvs, building dressers and other honey-do list type things.
Recently I've added car door unlocking services to the mix. I was presented with an issue that I've resolved many times before but with primitive means and was told I need to add this service to my bag. Pop a lock probably charges anywhere from $75-$150 or more to do something that takes all of a minute to get done. I can probably do it for $50 and depending on if its within the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Get locked out in the sticks, we gonna have to chat.

With business, you always want growth. With growth, you have to expect and coordinate change. Starting November 1, 2025, if you need help over the phone or via text messaging and your issue is resolved, a payment of $25 would need to be made please and thank you. I've learned that my way of helping was good, and since calling is easy for a lot of my clients, I feel that this would help keep me in business and for me to not feel that everything I do, I don't get any credit for.
