It’s that enchanting time again when the “Ber” months tiptoe in, jingling bells and dusting the air with holiday cheer. Elf mode? Fully activated. Sleigh of ideas? Overflowing.🎄

Though the curtain fell on Portland’s Festival of Trees last year, our merry little band of elves has found a new home for our sparkle—at the Longview Festival of Trees, presented by the Junior League of Lower Columbia.

And this year, the story is extra magical: it’s the 10th anniversary of Team Farandollins! Ten years of twinkling lights, laughter, and Christmas tree design ideas spun into reality. We are featuring a classic theme: Woodland Winter Wonderland

Exciting News!! I will be a guest chef at Friday Night Bites in Downtown Hillsboro Market Friday, May 23rd from 5pm-8pm. I’ll be showcasing my Grandma’s pineapple onion dip recipe. Be the first to try it… coming to the local farmers markets this summer!!

For the last 15 years I’ve been dreaming about getting my Grandma’s famous dip to market, sharing her 50+ year recipe with the world.

I’m in the first stages of getting the recipe licensed to sell at Farmers Markets. It is a perishable dairy product so after a consultation with a food product expert, I’m working on my first attempt at a non-dairy version to offer as well. I would appreciate any advice from other Farmers Market food company friends on here based in Oregon, USA. Packaging, labeling, licenses, insurance, etc. What has been your experience with the process?
