Jacqueline "Jacquie" Pillay- Career Advisor
Jacqueline "Jacquie" Pillay serves as a Career Advisor with the KCEOC Kentucky Career Center, bringing more than a decade of experience in workforce development and career services. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping individuals overcome barriers to employment, develop valuable skills, and achieve greater financial stability through meaningful work and training opportunities.
A graduate of Union College, Jacquie is passionate about empowering individuals to invest in their future through education, workforce training, and career advancement. She takes pride in guiding participants as they build confidence, strengthen their skills, and pursue pathways that lead to long term success. Her greatest reward is seeing individuals recognize their potential and achieve goals they once believed were out of reach.
Jacquie holds several respected industry credentials, including Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP), Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP), Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), and Certified Community Services Professional (CCSP). Among these accomplishments, she is especially proud of earning the CCAP designation, which reflects her commitment to excellence, leadership, and service to individuals, families, and communities.
Outside of work, Jacquie enjoys spending time with family, including her son, a recent University of Kentucky graduate, and Bernie, her mini poodle mix.
Guided by the belief that "Every person has potential, sometimes they just need someone to help them see it," Jacquie continues to make a meaningful impact on the individuals, families, and communities she serves throughout the region.
