Our hearts go out to the vendors affected by yesterday’s storm at FoodieLand Memphis.
We saw the videos and the damage was heartbreaking. So many small businesses lost canopies, banners, table covers, signage and other equipment they depend on to make a living.

I couldn't wait until the football season started to share this one. 😁
If you've been to a University of Memphis football game, you've probably seen Phil Glass, better known as The Ultimate Tiger, His passion and energy have made him one of the most recognizable faces in Tiger Nation.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of designing and installing the graphics on Phil's helmets, and I also designed and wrapped the graphics on his sword.

Every warrior deserves a shield. ⚔️

I've had the privilege of creating the graphics for The Ultimate Tiger's helmets over the years, and decorating his sword.
This season, it was time to complete the set.
Introducing The Ultimate Shield.

This was one of the first projects built on my new CNC, and it combines design, fabrication, printing, and finishing into one custom piece.
I can't wait to see Phil Glass carrying it this football season.

Design is in the details.
When Shelby County Fire Department asked me to design this canopy, I didn't want it to be just another red tent with logos on it.
The goal was to make it feel like an extension of their equipment.
I redrew both department logos, added gold foil accents inspired by the graphics on their engines, and carried the same white-red-white color scheme from the trucks into the canopy design.
Today I stopped by Station 60 to photograph the finished canopy, and seeing it set up in front of the engine house confirmed exactly what I had envisioned from the beginning.

Not every project is meant to hang on a wall, but this one was. 😄
This custom dimensional logo was built to take center stage for the Southern Wholesalers Association annual retreat in —and then hit the road.
We engineered it as a three-piece modular sign, making it easy to transport, store, and reuse for future events without sacrificing the seamless look once assembled.
Getting to see our work under the stage lights and in front of a full audience is always one of the best parts of the job.
Even better was hearing this from our client:

"The sign was a HUGE hit! The client was so surprised and loves it. Thanks again for all you did to make this such a huge success. The engineering was ingenious."

That's the kind of feedback that makes all the planning, fabrication, and late nights worth it.

Brand Concept Exploration

On our recent trip to , Angie and I met a young shop owner at who shared the story behind her business. We talked about branding, marketing, and first impressions—and I got my dog fix with Daxx, the handsome Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever mix who inspired the business name.

That conversation stayed with me during the seven-hour drive home. An idea took shape, and I decided to create this logo and business card concept with Daxx as the centerpiece.

The first images show the current branding, followed by my concept exploring a different creative direction inspired by Daxx. This wasn't commissioned work—just a creative exercise sparked by a great conversation and an opportunity to explore another branding approach.

I enjoyed bringing the idea to life and wish her nothing but success on her journey.
