Today is Data Privacy Day - quick reality check:

If your data was exposed today, how long would it take you to notice?

For most people and small businesses it’s weeks or months.

Why?
- No login alerts turned on
- Shared passwords
- No MFA on admin or user accounts
- No one reviewing sign ins or devices

Cybersecurity isn’t just about stopping attacks. It’s about detecting problems before they spread.

If today’s a reminder to do anything:
- Turn on login alerts
- Enable MFA everywhere possible
- Review who and what has access
- Remove anything that doesn’t need to be there

Data privacy isn’t a setting, it’s an ongoing practice.

Did You Know? AI Is Driving Up Computer Memory Prices

Here’s something most people don’t hear about:
There are only three major manufacturers that make most of the computer memory (RAM) used worldwide.

Recently:
- AI companies began buying massive amounts of high performance memory
- One major manufacturer shifted much of its production away from consumer PCs and toward AI and data center demand
- That tighter supply has pushed prices up for everyday computers

What that means for normal people:
- New laptops and desktops cost more than expected
- RAM upgrades aren’t as cheap as they used to be
- “Bare-minimum” systems age out faster

This is why choosing the right hardware from the start matters more today than it did even a few years ago.

AI isn’t just changing software.
It’s quietly changing hardware prices too.

This has been affecting lots of services today, they are working to restore functionality!

BREAKING: A major widespread outage that’s taking down major online platforms including Amazon, Alexa, Snapchat, Fortnite, Max, The New York Times, Lyft, Ring Doorbell, and many more. The issues are also causing disruptions for users around the world. Amazon Web Services is dealing with this.

Windows 10 Has Reached End of Life!

What that means for your business:

As of October 14th, 2025, Microsoft has officially ended support for Windows 10. That means no more security updates, bug fixes, or technical support from Microsoft.

If your business is still using computers running Windows 10, now is the time to plan your next move. Without updates, those systems will become increasingly vulnerable to security risks and software compatibility issues.

You have a few options:
• Upgrade to Windows 11 if your hardware supports it
• Purchase Extended Security Updates (ESU) for short term coverage
• Replace older systems that can’t make the upgrade
