8:45am: We are aware of the current service outage in your area. We have identified this as a 3rd party issue with another provider that helps feed our network. We are working with them to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available.

🚨 Suspicious Door-to-Door Activity Alert in Otis 🚨

We just received a report from one of our customers in Otis who had two college-age individuals come to his home claiming to represent Union River Telephone. They asked to come inside to discuss his phone bill and "changes that were going on."

The customer allowed them in briefly but quickly grew suspicious. After they left, he noticed they were driving a vehicle with Pennsylvania license plates.

While we can’t confirm their intent, this behavior raises concerns. We want to remind everyone:

✅ Always ask for official identification before letting anyone into your home.
✅ If something feels off, trust your gut—you are never obligated to let anyone inside.
✅ Report suspicious activity immediately to your local law enforcement and notify our office.

Your safety is our top priority. If you ever have doubts about someone claiming to represent our company, please give us a call to verify.
