I posted a photo to a group from my old neighborhood in London. I expected a few likes and maybe a comment or two. The photo got 271 likes and 105 comments. Why did this post do what my other posts had not? Because the photo stirred memories. It appealed directly to the reason they had joined the group. The lesson learned is: post something that you know will be of interest or concern. Random posts go nowhere.
