This is not an original puzzle, but I think it's a nice diversion that might be entertaining for kids.

Place 20 coins on a table, half face-up and half face-down.
Mix them up.
With your eyes covered, at random slide 10 coins into a second group.
Now turn over each of the coins in the second group.
The number of face-up coins in each group will always be the same.
