I originally got into the realm of 3D printing in order to print automotive replacements and custom parts for classic cars that I was always workin

g on and restoring. That then led into printing all sorts of household "hacks" for the wife, to replacement boat parts, RV parts, custom ice fishing accessories, articulating toys and figurine/statues for my kids and their friends. I never considered turning this into a small business until my middle child started playing hockey. He outgrew his first-year stick but only by a couple inches. I went into my local Hockey Shop for advice and was pointed towards a stick extension made of wood that you would have to file down to the right size in every direction and then proceed to glue and heat the stick and wood extension together to achieve the desired outcome. I quickly in my mind imagined that I could print a Stick extension and make it an exact fit that would not even require glue. I explained my idea to the owner and he was excited at the idea and was interested in the outcome. This then led to a great partnership in now creating this company and designing exact fit hockey designs as well as gifts and other useful creations. He was gracious enough to stock items in his store front with a very positive mentality that they would sell! They sure did and at an affordable price, I'm not "making a killing" in profit but simply enjoying the hobby while providing the absolute best quality. I have spent my entire life priding myself in the quality of my work and being a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to something I have created. I look at the quality of my work being what drives my reputation and company forward and that it creates a positive feeling in every purchase from a customer that they made the right choice. With that being said I stand behind my products and offer a free replacement warranty on some of my items that see the most abuse, like my custom hockey stick extension that are meant to withstand the rigors of the game. Today's featured PlayBook'd is Hangman!

This one is a wonderfully thought-out design. All the flip letters for guessing, the hangman is magnetic to build him as the game progresses, and everything has such a neat and organized place to tuck away and keep this game folded up and ready to play anywhere, anytime! A lot of time, a lot of magnets, a great print in the end!

Each of these classic games are designed as fold away games that transform into books to store on a shelf on display, as well as stay neat and organized. This one has magnets in the spine and hinges to fold open.

Today's featured PlayBook'd is Mancala!!

As soon as I printed this, the wife and I reminisced about playing this game as kids! Of course, our kids asked what the game was and we instantly had to teach them! This childhood game is easy and a must have for your game collection. This one was printed in mostly metallic colors giving the stones an awesome appearance as well as an actual feel like stones in the game. It came together wonderfully and looks amazing!

Each piece has a magnet printed inside of it as well as magnets in the book and playboard. This helps to keep your pieces in place and the book sealed up when being stored!

Custom designs have been coming in and making their way out of the shop these last few weeks. If you have an idea you want to turn into a reality reach out and let’s see if we can get it made!

This is custom made for an awesome vendor who makes and sells hand squeezed lemonades during the farmers market! She saw a similar design somewhere, explained what she wanted and we made it come to life with some added touches to make it easier. One side holds the lids, the other holds the cups stacked up, and around the edges stores markers, sharpies, pens etc.. I also added in a way to easily add some weight to the system for windy days. The screw on storage cup can hold lead or sand for weight or store items instead.

You’ll have to checkout Sweets and Treats by Jenny at the local farmers market coming up soon and see these bad boys in use!

I am now printing my designed hockey stick wall mounts in TPU (thermo-plastic polyurethane) and in a stronger plastic PETG If your kid is rough putting their stick up after a session the TPU mounts will last you much longer and take the beating. They bend, flex, and give to the abuse much easier.

Trying out a new designer's files. This is called Mirror Monstera from ForgeCore. This is a fun and unique way to help organize your bathroom counter. Each piece sticks to your mirror with double sided tape and can hold variety of things. Design with toothbrushes on one leaf, jewelry on another, and a soap holder as the third leaf. The pot is also designed to hold toothpaste or whatever you feel like storing in there! Maybe a leaf holding a contact lenses case and then your solution in the pot, the uses are endless.

Soon to follow I'll be printing their book games series. They look awesome and are totally worth checking out! Sooo many orders have gone flying out the doors this month. I have failed to capture decent photos along the way but today the last of the Christmas orders and regulars orders are going out! What’s busy month! As always I’m so grateful for everyone’s support. This year has really changed this tiny business/hobby mindset and started making it bigger! Again I appreciate everyone’s support and hope everyone has a wonderful winter break for the holidays and I’ll see you next year!!!
