Shepherd's House Ministries Needs Your Help. With the onslaught of snow and cold weather, we need your help. Just last night, we housed and fed 122 overnight guests in our 5 locations and are anticipating the same for the foreseeable future. Serving the needy at this level is more than we have ever done in the past, and honestly, we are having a hard time keeping up. We will continue to help any person for any reason who walks through our doors, but at this point, we really need the help of our community. The most critical need is monetary donations, as we are serving more people now than ever before in our history. Other needs include hand warmers, thermal underwear, hats, and gloves. Your help is greatly appreciated as we continue to love people well and meet their most basic needs.

Sometimes the smallest efforts can make the largest impact. I really learned this at the company I worked at prior to Altus, and am glad to carry this on in our community. We've helped The Shepherd's House technically for awhile now and I'm always impressed at how much folks give of themselves to better the lives of others. They are doing great things in our community and I felt it is worth sharing. Whether it's this organization or another, volunteering a little time can make a big change.
