Our owner and founder Mike was an IT Manager for MCI, then WorldCom, and then EDS during the mid to late 90's and into the early 21st century. Before that Mike owned a small custom build shop working from his home building and designing computers and home networks for his friends, c

ustomers, and family. In all total our technicians have almost 30 years in experience with computers and computer technology. We stay as current as humanly possible on the latest innovations in the computing industry. At Mitek Computers we care about our customers, and we do our utmost to make sure they are 100% satisfied with the service they receive from us. Whether it is a simple virus removal or a complete system reload, or even file recovery from a damaged hard drive ,we do everything computer related and we mean that. Our turnaround times are second to none, and in many situations we have your system back to you the same or next business day. In some instances we may have to order custom parts for your system, but in a lot of cases we have numerous parts in our inventory for most popular computer models. We are one of the few companies that can procure parts for almost any system no matter who the manufacturer and we are familiar with repairs on ALL brands of computers. The thing about computers and technicians is this. Anyone can call themselves a "technician" and in most cases you as a customer do not have a clue as to the persons background or education. At Mitek we have over 30 certifications in everything from Windows 2000 through Windows Server 2012. We are A+/CompTIA certified. Ask the technician you use now if he has an A+ certification. If he doesn't then turn and run away as fast as you can.A+ certification in our industry lets YOU know that the person working on your computer actually has the education and the know how to set your system up correctly and do things right the first time. Sure there will be situations where we run into some problems we haven't seen before, but normally we can resolve any issues you may be experiencing and do so in a fast, cost effective, and professional manner. This is a story about Mitek Computers and myself. I am proud of the businesss I have built and extremely proud of my behavior in this business. I am also very proudof the fect that I work with my partner and wife of 50 years Mary, I love what I do and I am extremely good at it.

There are so many YouTube Unuversity "techs" for lack of a better term out there that simply use AI and YouTube to TRY and disgnose problems and try to be real techs, Believe me they are not for real, These idiots and dummies are are scammers that have convinced themselves they are good at what they do.

Guess what, They arent good at all. Most of them can barely turn a computer on or even know how to login into a computer BIOS. Most of them have to look up everything using AI Google or YouTube, In all reality miost are just true scammers trying to make a fast buck. Here today gone tomorrow..

Most use shareware tools to think they are solving problems. They arent solving anything other than proving themselves to be as dumb as they are,

They charge you exxorbiatant amounts of money and then pretend they are great when in fact most of them barely know anything about computers at all, and in reality it makkes myself and other real world techs like me extremely angry and makesus just look bad. Like that auto mechanic that pretends he knows how to work on cars. You know the type.,

When you get your computer back from these rip offs pretenders and wanna bes your computer is usually worse than it was when you dropped it off.

It doesnt matter if its GeekSquad or some other professional or prvate entity most of these so called techs have had about 8 hours of training, no matter their true abilities, and end up charging you hundreds upon hundreds of dollars to solve even he simplest of problems.
