Our Billings crew recently hit the Billings Par 3 Golf Course for a summer golf scramble filled with plenty of friendly competition. ⛳

Things got interesting when the game ended in a three-way tie, calling for a tiebreaker round to settle the score. In the end, "Team Meat", Morgan, Emma, Adam, and Thomas, came out on top and claimed the win. Congrats, champs!

The A&E + SMA Helena team soaked up the sunshine and enjoyed the perfect summer beach day at Clark’s Bay on Hauser Lake!

With hot, sunny weather on our side, we spent the day playing games, grilling up a delicious beachside BBQ, cooling off in the water, and helping the kiddos build some impressive sandcastles. Most importantly, we enjoyed plenty of laughs, good food, and great company along the way.

Our team knows how to unwind, kick our feet up, and make the most of the simple things in life. Here’s to summer days well spent!

Caring for the trails we enjoy is one more way we can give back to the communities we call home.

Our Bozeman crew recently teamed up with Gallatin Valley Land Trust for a volunteer day at Triple Tree Trail. With tools in hand, the team spent the morning clearing drains, brushing the trail, and helping with the ongoing work that keeps this community resource in great shape.

We’re grateful for organizations like GVLT that protect and care for the trails, parks, and open spaces we’re lucky to enjoy, and even more grateful for the chance to lend a hand.

The transformation of Helena’s historic Old Board of Health building was about more than updating a century-old space. As part of the renovation, the rear entrance was reimagined to provide grade-level access and connect to a new elevator serving all three floors.

The addition improves accessibility and functionality while complementing the character of the original 1919 building. It’s a thoughtful balance of old and new that allows this historic space to meet today’s needs while preserving what makes it distinct.

Tucked into Powell County, the Charter Oak site offers a glimpse into Montana’s mining history. Once used to process ore before metal concentrates were transported to East Helena for refinement, the site remains a tangible connection to the region’s industrial past.

Working with the U.S. Forest Service, our team developed plans to stabilize the historic processing structure while preserving the character that tells its story. The work includes replacing deteriorated structural components, improving lateral stability, and repairing the roof to protect the building from further water infiltration.

Thoughtful stabilization will give the structure the support it needs for the future while preserving the historic character that connects it to Montana’s past.
