The cheapest IT quote is almost never the cheapest IT.

Here's how it goes. Three providers quote. One comes in noticeably under the others. The owner picks it, reasonably, because the services listed look roughly the same.

Then month four arrives with a project fee. Month seven has an after-hours charge. Month nine, the "that's outside your agreement" conversation. By month fourteen, the cheap provider costs more than the one that was too expensive.

The gap almost never comes from anyone being dishonest. It comes from what's not in the base price. Onboarding. Projects. After-hours. Hardware. Security tooling that gets quoted as an add-on later.

One question sorts it out before you sign: "What would I be billed for that isn't on this page?" A good provider will answer it specifically. A cheap one will tell you it depends.

Compare the second year, not the first month. That's where the actual price lives.
