Doc's Crystal Series of Barrel Aged E-Liquids successfully launched on December 29th, 2015 with the introductory juice 'Game Seven' (a Banana Moon Pie), which sold out completely in just over a week. The 2nd batch of 'Game Seven' is estimated to be released on February 21st, 2016. The second flavor in the line-up, 'Iron Bowl' (a Peach Cobbler), was released on January 11th, 2016 and is thriving! Get it while you can!

All initial batches (of each flavor) in the Doc's Crystal Series line will be available only in 3mg. The following batches will be available in 0mg, 1.5mg, 3mg, and 6mg.

Barrel Aged E-Liquid by Doc Ike

ABOUT:
Whilst looking to incorporate a new, high-end e-liquid series to our already existing e-liquid lines, we began experimenting with the process of barrel aging e-liquid. Prior to aging the e-liquid itself, we season the new oak barrels to perfection with high quality liquors. And, just as we expected, this process has resulted in unique, crisp flavor profiles that we are very excited about.
Doc’s Crystal Series is about being the best. And, for that reason, the flavor names will be associated with major sports or sporting events where “Champions are Crowned.”

THE PROCESS:
As we embarked on this journey, we made a decision to purchase new 1 liter white oak barrels - Made in America - with a medium char, as opposed to purchasing used barrels from the whiskey industry. We made this decision to ensure that we maintain full control of the entire process, as well as for the safety of our customers. Our barrels are stored per the manufacturer’s specifications until ready for use. When the process begins, the interiors of our barrels are first rinsed with 150°F water in order to clean and remove any loose char. The barrels are then drained and filled with select “Name Brand” high quality liquor for seasoning of the barrel. Barrel seasoning times vary by liquor and may age up to 5 weeks in a controlled environment, until the desired amount of liquor has been absorbed into the oak staves. The barrels are drip drained and immediately filled with high quality, pre-steeped e-liquids and aged for up to an additional 6 weeks, pending the flavor profile. Once the e-liquid is aged up to our quality standards, it is drained and filtered to remove any barrel particles and dispensed into mesh ventilated containers for 7 days to accelerate evaporation of any residual alcohol that may be a result of the seasoning process. Doc's Crystal Series is packaged in white, opaque bottles to reduce light exposure and secured with tamper evident seals, as well as child resistant droppers, for the safety of our customers. We hope you will appreciate the result of this lengthy process.
