STOP PAYING FOR THE JOURNEY.

Most designers want to sell you a 3-month “branding experience.” They want mood meetings, vision boards, and a $5,000 discovery phase that could have been an email.

I’m a 15-year pro and I’m done with the fluff.

Welcome to Spirit Designs.

I’ve unbundled the agency model. You pay for the seat. If you want a snack or a neck pillow, that’s on you. No hand-holding. No brand therapy. Just high-end design at a budget fare.

The Menu:

The Base Fare ($199): 1 Logo. B&W. Zero Revisions. *Limited launch price

The Big Front Seat ($299): 2 Concepts. Color. 1 Revision. *Limited launch price

Priority Boarding (+$100): 48-hour delivery.

Change of Itinerary (+$75): 1 Revision.

Checked Bag (+$50): Color Palettes & Font Names.

Wi-Fi Access (+$100): 15-minute “Talk to the Pilot” Zoom call.

It’s simple: You get what you get. If you want a creative partner, call an agency. If you want a real logo without the corporate markup, check-in at the link in my bio.

The cabin doors are closed. We are departing.

In contemporary church culture, Easter has evolved into an elaborate production. We often exert every effort to maximize attendance, utilizing various spectacles to draw a crowd. While there is no inherent harm in dressing formally, hosting egg hunts for children, or enjoying seasonal traditions, we must be careful not to diminish the profound brutality of the crucifixion.

We rightfully celebrate the Resurrection, yet we must remember that nothing can be restored to life unless it has first succumbed to death. The ex*****on of Jesus Christ was neither swift nor painless; it was a barbaric practice reserved for the most loathsome criminals of the era. Despite His innocence, Jesus was subjected to hours of horrific torture, ultimately enduring a slow, agonizing death to serve as the definitive sacrifice for humanity’s sins.

To attain new life in Christ, one must first experience a death—not of the flesh, but of the spirit. Through sincere repentance and the provision of God’s grace and mercy, the “old self” must be surrendered. We are called to turn away from our former lives and leave them behind. It is only through this transformation, as His blood washes over us, that we are made whole.

Ultimately, the blood of Jesus Christ alone is sufficient for salvation.

I tried to keep my camera setup as simple as possible for snapping photos at Disney World.

The goal was to keep my camera as light as possible and to also use inexpensive glass just in case it got dropped while trying to handle my kids.

Since this trip would involved pushing a stroller and carrying different backpacks and bags, I needed something low profile to avoid getting bumped. I have several Sigma and Sony lenses in various focal lengths but they all have a much longer profile than the TTartisan 27mm.

While a very inexpensive lens, the quality is not bad at all and it is very low profile. Shooting on a crop sensor such as the a6400, 27mm is a good length for walking around. Plenty wide to capture landscapes and close enough to snap family photos with a character. By going this route with a prime and not a zoom lens, I was able to operate it one handed most of the time as I kept the lens fixed at f8 for the majority of the trip. I also used back button focus on the camera to lock on and then keep the focus fixed without having to re engage each time because one downside is the 27mm can be slow on the AF lock.

I also brought along a TTartisan 56mm f1.8 for the same reason as the 27mm. It was inexpensive and light. Although I found the 56mm too long for most of my shots, I did occasionally mount it just to try and get some more detail shots. The focus is much faster and stopping down to 1.8 helped indoors and at night.

Both lenses were fitted with a K&F circular polarizer filter to combat the harsh sunlight and cut down on reflections in the park. A must have if you are shooting all day in the sun.

Using the Peak Design wrist cuff helped a lot as I could push a stroller while it hung on my wrist and then kind of swing it up into to shoot one handed while walking.

I plan to do some more in depth reviews on each of these lenses in the future but for now you can swipe through to see some sample photos. For under $200 each these are fantastic buys.
