Rezze is looking for passionate front end and back end developers to help build our site and business. We are a web start-up aimed at making renting and managing apartments easier for tenants and property managers alike. Our site is www.rezze.co and we are looking to fill the three below positions in the next two weeks. We are also located in Blacksburg Virginia, right off Tech campus.
Position: Web Developer Openings: 2
This position is a front end/back end position. An emphasis on front end html/css/jQuery is necessary. The back end of the site is written in Ruby on Rails so knowledge in that area is a huge plus, but not necessarily required. All work can be done from a laptop so being in the office is not completely necessary if you can manage your time well. The hours are flexible, but the position would be approximately 20 hours a week during the semester. If you fit well with our team, we are willing to teach/reinforce many of the skill needed for the job.
Skills: good team work ; working with deadlines
Technical Skills: HTML ; CSS ; javascript/jquery ; MySql ; Ruby on Rails
Position: Community Manager Openings: 1
The community manager is somebody that can meet with current and potential clients for anything related to the business. This means helping people use the software, spreading the word about new features, and making sure our brand comes across the way we intend. This position doesn't require technical knowledge like the developer positions, but you will need to understand the software enough to answer any questions people may have which is a little in depth.
Skills: Good with people ; good team work
Technical Skills: Familiarity with web development practices and tools in general
