When configuring an LED video wall, your network cable runs depend on pixel count, pixel pitch, and whether the wall is running in HDR.
In this clip, Brightlink AV explains how network limits change between standard non-HDR LED wall setups and HDR LED video wall configurations. For a standard setup, you may be able to run roughly four cabinets per network cable while staying under the 650,000 pixel limit. But when HDR is enabled, that limit is cut in half — meaning you need to stay closer to 325,000 pixels per run.
For this P1.25 LED wall, each cabinet is around 129,000 pixels, so the setup is planned around two cabinets per network cable to keep the system within the correct range.
This is why proper planning matters before installing a fine-pitch LED wall. Pixel pitch, cabinet resolution, controller capacity, and network routing all affect performance.
