A look at one of my recent projects with Oakland Hills Country Club for the grand re-opening of its newly built clubhouse this past April. β³
Following the devastating clubhouse fire in 2021, Oakland Hills unveiled its new clubhouse in April 2026, and I had the opportunity to support the club's communications team in producing creative assets for the reopening.
I was tasked with redesigning the club's seven restaurant menus, creating clean vector floor plan blueprints that would be used in a directional brochure for guests to use when navigating the new grounds, and restoring a historic archived sketch of "The Monster"βthe iconic illustration tied to Oakland Hills' legendary South Course.
Located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Oakland Hills is consistently ranked among the world's premier golf clubs. The Donald Ross-designed South Course is currently ranked #2 in Michigan, #20 in the U.S., and #36 in the world, and has hosted some of golf's most prestigious championships, including six U.S. Opens, three PGA Championships, the 2004 Ryder Cup, and the 2024 U.S. Junior Amateur. The club is also set to host the 2034 U.S. Open along with several future championships.
Special thanks to Kyle Mattson for calling me in to help support the team during this exciting time. Honored to be part of a significant moment in the club's history and jump in on short notice to contribute to the clubhouse reopening.
