Real impact in healthcare is measured one decision at a time. Every digital experience that's easier to understand, easier to navigate, easier to trust adds up.

That's why we're proud to recognize GSK Canada as our Best of Pharmaceuticals winner in the 2026 Siteimprove.ai Global Digital Accessibility Awards. Congratulations to Darryl Clews and the team for raising Level AA conformance above 90% across their sites.

In Darryl's words: "Accessible design strengthens trust, reduces risk, which improves outcomes for patients and healthcare professionals."

Everyone's asking if their brand shows up in AI search.

Fewer are asking if AI search can actually use what it finds.

Eligibility > visibility. We're at booth #220 at Gartner® Marketing Symposium/Xpo™ in Denver to talk through the difference.

If you've ever sat in a budget meeting trying to explain AEO performance to a finance team, you already know the disconnect.

AI search is making that conversation harder. Claude, ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, and AI Overviews in general are influencing buying decisions long before anyone visits your website, and most reporting tools weren't built to see it.

That's the conversation Dale Bertrand (Fire&Spark) and Jeff Coyle (Siteimprove) are taking on. Two practitioners, real case studies, and a working playbook for tying AI search performance to revenue your CFO can sign off on.

We are proud to announce that CQUniversity has been named the winner of the Best of Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) category in the Siteimprove 2026 Global Digital Accessibility Customer Awards.

The awards recognise organisations leading the way in creating more accessible and inclusive digital experiences.

This recognition follows CQUniversity achieving WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance and being named Education Website of the Year by the Centre for Accessibility Australia.

At CQUniversity, accessibility is never an afterthought — it’s built into everything we do. These milestones reflect our ongoing commitment to creating inclusive digital experiences that support all students, staff, and communities.

This year the Siteimprove team marked with three challenges that put Siteimprovers in the shoes of users who navigate digital barriers every day.

The Blind Brew challenge had folks making coffee while blindfolded, navigating a touchscreen they couldn't see.

The No Hands Mouse challenge meant playing a reaction game using only facial expressions to move the cursor.

And User Inyerface was a gauntlet of bad UX design meant to show how quickly a frustrating digital experience becomes exhausting.

There's something powerful about turning knowledge into lived experience, even briefly. We're grateful for a team that shows up curious and comes away more committed to the work.

Accessibility in financial services is rarely simple. Legacy systems, regulatory deadlines, and complex platforms all push back. The win comes from program maturity, not heroics.

That's the playbook Irfan Ali has built at BlackRock, and it's why their team is our Best of Capital Markets winner in the 2026 Global Digital Accessibility Awards.

In his words: "Sustained investment in tooling, organizations can achieve measurable accessibility improvements, reduce recurring defects, and build a mature, scalable program."

How do you make accessibility real across 62,000 pages in a fully bilingual digital ecosystem?

You build a team that treats it as continuous responsibility, not a project. You give them tools that turn hours of analysis into minutes. You let AI handle the scale so people can focus on the impact.

Congratulations to uOttawa, our Best of Higher Education (Canada) winner in the 2026 Global Digital Accessibility Awards. Nathalie Blanchard, Karin Brault, Alin Ticlea, Maida Bashir, Isabelle D'Amours, Adriana Granieri, and the whole team are showing what scalable inclusion looks like.

Look up. ⬆️

On Global Accessibility Awareness Day, the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square is honoring ten organizations whose digital accessibility work stands apart. They are the inaugural winners of the Siteimprove Global Digital Accessibility Awards.

This is the first time we're formally recognizing the customers leading this work, and we couldn't be prouder of the group. Congratulations to AdventHealth, Bang & Olufsen, Barclays UK, BlackRock, CQUniversity Australia, GSK Canada, Harvard University, Posten Bring A/S, Shell and the University of Ottawa

Each of these teams has made digital inclusion a lasting priority. Each is helping prove that accessibility and performance grow stronger together.

Over the next three days, we'll be sharing more about each team and the work that earned them a place on the Nasdaq tower today.

We're heading to Stockholm later this month for a conversation we've been looking forward to.

On 26 May, Siteimprove is co-hosting a private executive dinner with The MarTech Summit, focused on what customer experience looks like in a world where answer engines, not search results, often shape the first impression a buyer has of your brand.

Matthew Bebenek will moderate the discussion, and the table is intentionally small so everyone can speak openly.

If you're a marketing or CX leader in the Stockholm area and curious about the shift to AEO, we'd love to save you a seat.
