We supply and mill a wide range of species including:
- Black Walnut
- White Oak
- Red Oak
- Chestnut Oak

- Yellow Poplar (Tulip Poplar)
- White Pine (including large diameter premium logs)
- Yellow Pine
- Cedar

We specialize in large diameter logs, including oversized white pine, and can produce:
- Live edge slabs
- Extra wide boards
- Beams and mantels
- Custom dimensional lumber

If you are looking for wide, high-quality material for tables, builds, or specialty projects, we can cut to your exact specifications.

We also offer custom sawmilling for customer-supplied logs. Deliver your logs to our Caldwell County location and we will mill them to your requested sizes.

Pricing (board foot estimates):
- White / Yellow Pine: $0.60 – $1.00
- Large diameter White Pine (wide slabs / beams): $1.50 – $3.00+
- Yellow Poplar: $1.00 – $1.75
- Red Oak: $1.25 – $2.25
- White Oak: $2.00 – $3.50
- Maple: $1.75 – $3.00
- Cedar: $1.50 – $3.00
- Black Walnut: $4.00 – $8.00+

Premium wide logs / slab material:
- Oak / Maple / Poplar: $4.00 – $8.00+ per board foot
- Walnut: $8.00 – $15+ per board foot

Custom sawmilling (your logs, at our site):
- $0.40 – $0.75 per board foot depending on volume and cut requirements
- Minimum job charge may apply

Yadkin River Sporting Association – Membership Interest

We are currently in the process of forming the Yadkin River Sporting Association, a newly structured, privately managed outdoor recreation property consisting of:
• Two parcels totaling nearly 1,000 acres in North Carolina
• An additional 400 acres in Virginia

The focus of the association is centered around hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation, with an emphasis on creating a well-managed, high-quality recreational experience.

Yadkin Inc. owns and manages the land and is actively working to add additional properties to the Sporting Association in the future, expanding both access and opportunity over time.

As we transition into this new model, a limited number of membership opportunities may become available.

This entire load came from one Yellow Poplar tree harvested off the Yadkin.

The tree produced 2,100 board feet, sold at $450 per thousand board feet, for a total value of $945.

Harvesting yellow poplar and white pine like this is part of a long-term forest management strategy focused on improving the stand for future oak hardwood growth. Removing select trees allows more sunlight to reach the forest floor and gives young oaks the space they need to establish and thrive.

Good forestry is about thinking decades ahead—balancing timber value today while building stronger hardwood stands for the future.
