You don’t have to feel ready before you obey God.

Sometimes the next step is clear...but fear, insecurity, or the need for one more “sign” keeps us standing still. I’ve lived that too. I never felt fully ready to turn MJD into a Christian media company. I just kept following God one step at a time.

Psalm 46:1 KJV reminds us that God is our refuge and strength. Not our confidence. Not our perfect timing. Not our ability to have everything figured out.

I don’t want gratitude to be something I practice only when life feels good. 🖤

I want to learn to recognize God’s faithfulness in the ordinary, messy, unfinished days too. That’s why I created this journal.

Gratitude doesn’t make the hard seasons disappear. It teaches us to notice that God is still faithful in the middle of them. 🖤
