🖥️ Windows 10 Support Is Ending – Here’s What You Need to Know
Microsoft will stop providing free security updates for Windows 10 in October 2025. That means your computer will still work, but it will no longer receive security patches or fixes — leaving it more vulnerable to new threats.
You’ve got a few good options:
1️⃣ Upgrade to Windows 11 – Most newer PCs can upgrade for free. You’ll get continued updates and improved performance. I can check compatibility and handle the upgrade for you safely, without losing your files.
2️⃣ Extended Support for Windows 10 – If your computer can’t run Windows 11, Microsoft is offering one free year of extended security updates starting in 2025. After that, paid updates will be available yearly. I can help you set that up and keep your system secure.
3️⃣ Switch to Linux – If you’d rather avoid Microsoft’s paid updates or want to extend the life of older hardware, Linux can be a great alternative. It’s fast, secure, and free. I can install and set up a user-friendly version that looks and feels similar to Windows.
If you’re unsure what’s best for your PC, I can quickly check compatibility and guide you through the safest path — whether that’s upgrading, extending, or switching.
