Changing the morning routine since the new job and the kids are dragging their feet getting ready like I don't have a 45 minute drive to navigate.
Me working from home for so long has spoiled them but it's time to get it in gear.

My autistic 10 year old won 3rd place in the science fair. Christina Henderson helped, of course, but it's still impressive. Congratulations V!

Bo Naylor's defensive struggles so far tonight scream out as to why I have an issue with one knee down catching. . . especially with runners on base. You cannot move quickly to block, and these kids are more concerned with framing than they are with catching, relying on the pitchers to not only be on target consistently, but also to have consistent spin and movement. It's easier on the knees, of course, but the level of sacrifice that is given up defensively just to be 'prettier' is not helpful for the pitcher when he's struggling to locate.

I’ve heard hunters talk about velvet on deer antlers. I don’t hunt so it’s just something that I don’t run into. Well, today was the day. Saw antlers and it’s a different look. Can’t miss it. They don’t show those pictures in school books, and I wasn’t quick enough to get a photo.
