What did the internet help you do today?

This month, we were proud to welcome policymakers and industry stakeholders to our tower sites for two experiences hosted by NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association, offering a firsthand look at the people and infrastructure behind wireless connectivity.

In South Carolina, Congressman Russell Fry joined NATE, ESystem Training Solutions and industry partners at one of our tower sites to learn more about the skilled workforce and critical infrastructure that help keep communities connected.

A week later, NATE hosted another experience at our Ashburn, Virginia site, where Capitol Hill staff, FCC staff, and think tank representatives geared up and climbed one of our towers alongside experienced trainers and safety professionals. The experience offered a unique perspective on the expertise, preparation, and commitment to safety required to support wireless connectivity.

We're proud to open our sites to experiences that build greater awareness and understanding of the communications infrastructure industry.

SBA recently joined ITU and United Nations Development Programme - UNDP at in New York, where our Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Maria Alexandra Velez, participated in conversations on how digital technologies can help create a more inclusive and sustainable future. The event brought together leaders from government, industry, civil society, and the United Nations to advance digital cooperation and innovation.

SBA Communications was proud to support the Wireless Infrastructure Association's tower tour at our site in Kanawha County, West Virginia. FCC Commissioner Olivia Trusty, West Virginia Delegate Walter Hall, and Todd Gunter, Director of Economic Development for U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito had the opportunity to experience firsthand the infrastructure that helps keep communities connected.

The tour showcased the technology, expertise, and collaboration required to power modern connectivity.

Thank you to the Wireless Infrastructure Association, Commissioner Trusty, and everyone who joined us learn more about the role plays in building wireless networks.

SBA was a proud Leaderboard sponsor of the 13th Annual T-Mobile Golf Tournament, which took place at Newcastle Golf Club.

This golf invitational brings together colleagues from across the wireless industry to support four outstanding causes: The Tower Family Foundation, Warriors4Wireless, Learning Alliance Corporation, and New Reflections Technical Institute.

Since 2014, this event has raised funds to help support communities in need.
