6:00 and the store is a seasonally appropriate amount of dead. We're closing up slightly early tonight. "Have a scary good time," from the creepy old vampire behind the counter!

And, our count down has begun.

SUPER slow. People are clearly already getting ready for Trick or Treat, already. If this continues, we're gonna be packing it in by 6PM.

By posting this, we realize we may touch on a sensitive topic for some, and we may offend, some. We apologize in advance.

A notable opportunity came our way. A long time friend of the store informed us that a child from a home where abuse is a thing, needed a replacement Switch. He is a charitable, kind generous person, and gives selflessly of himself, all the time. He wanted to purchase it for the child. Not an option. It was HIS turn to have someone else shoulder the task.

We did what we think YOU all would do, and he walked out with a switch for the poor child, no cost to him.

Speaking of, it IS that time of year when many start to consider those in need. Please take the time to do so ... especially for those in ... tougher situations, like abuse in the home. Be mindful, be aware. Lots of people out there needing a hand.

THANK YOU, for letting us be the face of YOUR generosity, and for the donations that so many of you make FOR assisting others, and for shopping with us, at all. We totally depend on YOU for us to even stay here.

Remember, VIP will be closing BY 7PM, tonight, Saturday, 10/31/26, Halloween. We're gonna start watching foot traffic in the store starting at 5PM, and seriously at 6PM. We will leave by 7PM AT THE LATEST,, but any time after 6PM, if we are too slow, we will be just a creepy memory.

Bleh, bleh bleh!

On behalf of someone in need.

This is a long shot but I’m desperate so I’m posting to hopefully find my missing car keys. I lost them Friday while working, I’m a delivery driver and had them in my pocket in the morning and when I got in my own vehicle at the end of the day to go home I did not have them. I walked downtown Boise doing deliveries and made stops from Boise, Garden City, Meridian, Nampa and Eagle.
They’re a pretty obvious set of keys, there’s a gold cat brass knuckle on them and a small giraffe stuffed animal. I’ve called all of the locations I went to that day with no luck so I’m hoping this will reach the person who possibly found them on the ground. If you’d do me the favor of sharing this post so it can cover more ground it’d be very much appreciated! I have no spare, no extra funds to have a new one made and have to have them 😭

Regarding our post about the Midnight Launch for Zelda.

We have purchased them from our distributor. Who has, in turn, purchased them from Nintendo. However, they still have to be shipped, and arrive on time. IF all goes as it should, they will be here in time for us to sell at midnight. But, Nintendo could drop the ball. Our distributor could drop the ball. The shipping company could drop the ball. Someone could steal the games in transit. Mechanical failures could happen. Several things can still go wrong to keep us from being able to do a midnight launch.

BUT, AS LONG AS THINGS ALL GO AS PLANNED, we will be able to do the midnight. We hope this helps clear up any confusion.

OK, the word has come down that

AS LONG AS THE MERCHANDISE ARRIVES ON TIME

We will be doing a midnight for Zelda on Switch 2...
BUT, the stuff has to be here on time. Keep watching for updates.
