Phase 3 is in motion still. We are now testing all traffic through VPN as an added layer of protection.

Has anyone else seen the horrific headlines about data breaches? How about Russian ransomware?

These are the kinds of things we are working to prevent.

We don't do fear-mongering here at Cybersprockets, but every organization should be aware of what they need to protect and how to protect it.

Sprocketeers! Its almost time. We just went from "in testing" to production on our remote management platform. It means that we are close to being able to provide services to real live customers.

In the meantime, who all has seen the recent headlines? I just saw one that said "russian ransomware hackers worked with Kremlin". We here at cybesprockets aim to do business by means other than fear-mongering, but sometimes these headlines are a good reminder of whats out there and in this case, whats out there is russians with Kremlin backed intelligence and cash pumping out ransomware.

Shortly we hope to open up a blog and start doing some re-posting of important security stories from popular sites just to illustrate how critical cybersecurity actually is.

Final stages of testing the software stack are within sight, we have made all the critical decisions necessary to support a final product and we are in testing right now.

The crew at Cybersprockets has made some decisions on our tech stack, which means we are now moving forward with implementing the services we chose and building the packages that will be available for purchase.

We are still looking forward to an October launch date for our services.

Happy Saturday, Sprocketeers! This is Joshua here, repping Cybersprockets.com. I just wanted to give a little update. I am now full-time engaged here at Cybersprockets.com. The team I have collected is working on the software stack that we want to roll out to our customers and we will be moving into the procurement and back-end deployment in about a month. Greetings my fellow sprocketeers! Intel has some interesting issues happening with their CPUs. Major degradation over time seems to be the alleged issues. Anyone out there in userland experiencing new and exciting Intel Chip issues with their recently purchased computers or hardware builds?

Also, for anyone interested, as of 7:30am Mountain time, Crowdstrike is down to $277/share on the NASDAQ, as opposed to a week ago, when it was around $369.

There is still a big debate about how this might have been mitigated with delaying releases or sandboxing them. Unfortunately it would appear that this "update" might have gone out and been implemented without the ability to stop it.

The best analogy I have heard is akin to anti-virus and virus definitions. The "anti-virus" software was up to date, but this was more like "definitions" that were being updated, that would have flown under the radar and been updated anyhow.
