This vibrant gathering brings together innovators, founders, and dreamers to share insights, spark partnerships, and grow our local startup ecosystem. Whether you're launching a new venture or scaling your business, come network, exchange ideas, and fuel your entrepreneurial journey.

Meet John Mitchell, the owner of ! 👋Prior to moving to Boone in May of 2022 John and his wife Nicole lived in the NC Triangle. John grew up in Western NY and Nicole is from Northern Maine. They decided to build their eventual retirement home in Boone and then decided to make the permanent move sooner than originally expected.

John spent 25 years in IT sales and decided for the last few years he wanted to do something completely different. John’s mother is from Finland so you could say sauna is in his blood. He was looking for a sauna for his home, which is what led him to discover the mobile sauna business. Mobile saunas are popular in the Upper Midwest but they are an entirely new experience for many Southerners. John shares, “Being able to help spread sauna culture in a part of the country where it's not practiced regularly has been personally rewarding.”

John’s mission is to grow the sauna and cold plunge culture in the High Country!

Are you ready to unlock your path to freedom?

During this 2-hour immersion with Brooke Walker, High Country entrepreneur and author of her new experiential handbook, Become the Architect of Your Life: Your Antidote to Procrastination, participants will begin to build a toolbox for designing a life through intention and bold action, while learning how to dismantle the limiting beliefs that hold us back from expressing our highest potential.

Guests are invited to stay after the immersion for lunch (for purchase) and to hang out, network and continue dialoguing.

When: August 23rd, 11am - 1pm
Where: The Art of Living Retreat Center, Dining Room Lounge

Investment: No cost (optional lunch for purchase)
