Isalia Property Group manages or has developed several hundred units of housing in Boston, New Bedford, Fall River, Worcester, and Everett. Isalia is also partnering with local non-profit groups to build over 60 units of affordable housing in Roxbury, MA. Prior to Isalia Property Group, Marco Bitran founded AI Exchange, Inc. within venture capital from General Catalyst, Founder Collective, Common
Angels, and LaunchCapital. AI Exchange improved access to alternative investment strategies by making these strategies available in liquid and transparent managed accounts. Marco, originally an electrical engineer from MIT, designed the trade processing technology that operates the AI Exchange platform. An entrepreneur with experience in both engineering and finance, Bitran previously worked at an investment fund that utilized quantitative models developed at MIT to trade and invest in ETFs and other investment assets. Prior professional experiences include overseeing a sleeve of the Global Research Equity Portfolio as an analyst for Wellington Management Company and working as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Bitran designed computer chips with voice-processing capabilities for Qualcomm, where he was an engineer in the cellular systems division. Born in Sao Paolo, Brazil and reared in Boston, Marco is a graduate of Harvard Business School (’03, First Year Honors). in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (’97), where he was selected to three National Honor Societies, served as Vice President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and elected captain of the NCAA Division I Rowing team. He also studied at Stanford University. Husband and father of two children, Marco is an avid pilot and volunteer for Angel Flight NorthEast and Patient Airlift Services. Marco also enjoys spending time with family, running and swimming.
