Seeing “The operation cannot be performed because the message has been changed” when moving Outlook email?

For some IMAP folder moves, Microsoft lists two workarounds: switch to another folder and back, then retry; or restart Outlook and try again. These may help with the error, but they aren’t a guaranteed permanent fix.
