For several years, Mbicycle has been expanding the geography of our representative offices, cooperating with companies around the globe. We turned our attention to tech talents from Kazakhstan back in 2021. This region is characterized by a variety of technical universities that educate highly qualified specialists, so as a high level of soft skills among these specialists.

After we hired several employees from Kazakhstan to work remotely in Mbicycle and after their successful participation in our clients' projects, we decided to open our offline office in Astana, Kazakhstan. In today's digital world, there are a huge number of metrics and indicators related to user behavior online. Finding the right tools to gather and analyze this data efficiently is essential for every business to stay profitable. The Mbicycle team has cooperated with a US-based expert in marketing analytics to provide the development of a multi-channel marketing automation software for the Shopify platform.

In this project, our team cooperated with a startup that was initially looking for a development team familiar with advanced mapping technologies, route building, and payment processing integration. Due to our previous technical experience, the client hired experts from Mbicycle to develop an Android app for a car-sharing service where people could form groups traveling via the same route — to work or study — to share one car and payments per ride equally.

As the client had already developed some basic functionality, we set a seamless interaction between our Android app and the client's web panel, extended the app with several useful features, and ensured its stable, error-free operation.

The year 2020 with the worldwide-spread COVID-19 has been a tough touch for lots of companies across industries. At the same time, there were business domains that have been showing significant growth since 2020. Digital learning is one of the few industries that has gotten ahead due to a variety of restrictions caused by the pandemic around the world.

Second-screen apps for TV show fans are still very popular and widespread these days. As we've already cooperated with a huge British-based media platform successfully, they hired Mbicycle’s mobile department to create the updated version of their Android app.

The main idea of our solution was focused on arranging the proper interaction between the viewers and the results of the TV show, providing the TV show fans with the ability to follow and vote for the participants after each episode.

Working on the technical part of the application, we've linked the Android app with the real-time airing of the show so that its users could instantly see all the events during the show and interact with them via their mobile devices. As a result, users were able to check the news feed updates and learn more about the participants, their clashes and funny moments, and, most crucially, vote for the participants in real-time. Knowing English today is one of the basic skills vital for doing business at the international level. Our team has already cooperated with several online and offline educational platforms. In today's case study we want to tell a few words about providing our development services for one of the largest English learning platforms — Lingualeo. Today this interactive service with more than 23 million active users helps people worldwide with learning English through the gamification approach.

The client reached us with the need to improve the performance of this iOS app and make it smoother and faster. Developers from Mbicycle decided to redevelop several software elements created with React Native using Swift — iOS native language.

Our team started by preparing and configuring a proper environment to run the original React Native code. We also installed and adjusted the Node.js server, as well as WebTranslateIt to work with automatic localization.
