Square Tech Computer Repair & Training Center IT Tech Training Program for Boston area High School Youth. to provide youth with basic hands-on IT training;
2. develop youths’ 21st century skills; and

Square Tech is located in the heart of the Castle Square community in Boston's South End, and is a computer repair and training center. Operating year round, located in the heart of the Castle Square community in Boston’s South End, and a licensed Microsoft refurbisher, Square Tech’s purposes are:

1. help bridge the economic digital divide. Services Offered
-Free consultation and diagnosis for a

ll computers;
-Computer services (data transfer, data backup, virus/malware removal, etc.)
-IT consulting services for technology and community centers
-House calls for Castle Square residents-please call ahead to schedule

Suggested Donations for Square Tech services:
1 Time Repair $25
Refurbished Desktop PC (includes keyboard, mouse, Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010) $125
*Donations can be made with checks and money orders
*Repair may take up to 10 business days.
*Peripherals may be purchased separately. Keyboard -$10, Mouse-$5, Mouse & Keyboard Combo-$13, Monitors-$15
(Payment must be made prior to picking up or dropping off your computer)

Square Tech's Teen Program-
Recruiting high school juniors and seniors from Castle Square, surrounding neighborhoods, and Boston Public Schools, Square Tech provides innovative vocational training to youth in the IT field. Square Tech collects unwanted computers, otherwise headed for the landfill, from our partners throughout Boston. Youth then apply their learned IT training to refurbish these computers, which are then available for suggested donation. This effectively increases affordable access to technology to some of Boston’s most unconnected communities.

Computer Programming
Business/Customer Service Training​

SQUARE TECH FALL 2020 VIRTUAL PAID INTERNSHIP

Hello everyone, Square Tech's Fall 2020 program will be virtual. We are currently looking for Castle Resident and Boston Youth between the ages of 14-19. This is a 10-week course running from 4 pm - 6 pm Monday thru Friday starting October 12th and ending December 18th. Students will receive a stipend pay. If you know any youth who want to learn about Computer Science, Intro to networks, Advance networking, PC hardware and Business.

Hello everyone I am currently accepting applications for one of my programs called Intro to AV. I am looking for teen interns between the ages of 16-19 in grades 11th and 12th for 14- week Intro to AV Technology course this is a paid internship at $12 per hour. This college level course with college credit will be offered at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology campus. The course is designed to introduce students to a comprehensive, introductory overview of science and technology for audio, visual and audiovisual systems integration. Through Square Tech Computer Repair and Training Program, you can take an A/V Technology class at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology, earn $11 an hour and maybe even college credit. You will get a comprehensive, introductory overview of science and technology for audio, visual and audiovisual systems integration and hands on experience working with cutting edge equipment. This year's National Night Out at Castle Square I received the Community Service award. I was honored to have been nominated and honored to have receive it. I want to thank Mayan for nominated me he's a great friend and a great mentor to so many youth. To have received this award at Castle Square was truly great a place I grew up and still work at as a mentor, teacher of technology and to some a second mom, Tia and friend. This year at Castle Square's National Night out I received the Community Service award from the Boston police. I was so honored to be nominated by a great friend Mayan and was so honored to receive it. It was great receiving this award at Castle Square the place I grew up and were I still to this day work closely with youth as a mentor, a teacher of technology and best of all a second mom to all my kids. Those who know me no I don't like to have my picture taken or being in the spotlight but for that night I didn't mind. NNO this year is Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 5-8 pm at Village Court. Please join us as we mark CSTO’s 22nd year hosting this event. It will feature live entertainment, inflatables, information tables and activities for everyone. The goals of NNO are to bring communities together and to bolster police/community relationships. We are proud to have Mayor Marty Walsh join us again this year, as well as Police Commissioner William Gross. We strongly encourage Police - community partnerships and invite you all to join in on our efforts.
